i was wondering if anyone has ever had a bad experience with beavers or anything else while fishing from a float tube? maybe a territorial defense from the beaver or something along those lines? if so i would sure love to hear about it. i would love to buy one, but i can't stop wondering about the beavers, lol, i know it sounds stupid. its the idea of the legs hanging in the water....so if anyone has anything to share on the subject it would be appreciated. thanks

Nah...beavers just like to scare the crap out of you, slapping their tails next to you when you're not expecting it. It's the big snapping turtles that swim after you that can be annoying. ;-)

Beavers not the problem but I have been chased 3x by snappers.. Mind you, I am on the water more than most. Noone else I know has had this happen. Also had a loon swim under me. That was scary when you know how they deal with rivals, LOL. WRT snappers, just paddle away as fast as you can. They eventually give up.

this may be dumb to ask but how do you know if a giant snapper is onto you?
being out in the county i've seen my share of monster snapping turtles, and i think that if i turned quickly and noticed one of them on my rear it would be a pretty intense moment of "butt clenching fear" lmao
