Rotting bunks/Shallow ramps

Post by roughrider »

Are you having trouble at those shallow ramps trying to get your aluminum boat launched? Maybe your tired of rotting Trailer bunks under that wet carpet.

The answer to both questions is removing the rug, change out your bunks if rotten, and add the plastic slicks they advertise.

I can launch just about anywhere with a shove to the boat and loading is easy for one man, just drive up to the bow post. Before, I could never get this boat off the trailer if it was not submerged most off the way.Save your back and your bunks :D :D 8)

I thought those slides were a gimmick. RR, you're the first person I have heard to use them. Sounds like they are a hit.

Grumpy, neat toys!

Great idea RR :!:

Just a side note though, they are not recommended for boats with riveted hulls :!:
