winterizing boat motor

Hi:
Am winterizing my outboard myself fot the first time. It is a 90hp Merc 4 stroke. I have changed the oil in lower unit as well as engine. I have run fuel stabilizer through engine and greased all fittings. I am not sure whether I should fog the engine. There is no mention of this in the Merc manual, yet most dealers that winterize engines say it is necessary.What are your thoughts?
