Hi:
Am winterizing motor myself for the first time. It is a 90 hp Mercury 4 stroke. I have changed oil in lower unit as well as engine. I have greased all fittings and have added fuel stabilizer to gas tank as well as running it through engine. Is fogging the motor necessary? Most dealers that winterize motors say it is necessary ,yet there is no mention of doing this in the Mercury manual in the chapter that deals with winterizing and motor storage. Your input is appreciated.
