question...motor stalling out

Post by orrsey »

Can anyone help?
I was out on the lake today and my motor kept stalling out. About two minutes down the lake it was almost like I was out of gas (kind of reving up and down) and then finally it quit. Tried to start it again but as soon as I put it in forward it would quit again. Also I had trouble starting it, took a lot of pulls to get it going. Its my third time out this year and the times before I never had this problem. Anyone have any ideas at where to start to look?

Other possibilities (I know they are basic but you never know):

Is fuel hose connected properly at both ends?
Is your vent opened on your gas tank?
