hey all... i have an old johnson 10 hp outboard (1954) it is new to me and it runs fine..... had it up north this weekend and it decided it wanted to be tempremental on the throtal..... it dident want to rev up very high in neutral and it took a second or 2 to let the motor rev up and go when in gear it wanted to go slow (troling speed) even when wide open for a minute or 2 and in neutral i can normally rev it very high but it wouldent go past a moddest bubbly growl..... any sugestions as to what it could be and how to fix it?
