Hey Jebby,

Congrats again on finding something you like. I'm not sure of everything that's needed, I'll try and get a more complete list soon but here's some of the things I remember...

-Windshield/ windows intact
-tires have tread (I believe at least 1.5-3mm tread,NOT 100% sure)
-bumpers,
-doors,hood, trunk close properly
-Seatbelts
-parking break
-mud flaps
-All fluids topped up
-Engine response, (will it drop to idle if you remove foot from gas...etc)
-front wheel alignment/ tightness of steering
-suspension
-windshield washers/wipers
-heating defrosting
-speedometer
-sun visors
-head rests
-no rust perforation on underside, (frame or body)
-mirrors
-gas tank,(no leaks)
-exhaust: well secured, no leaks
***- they will inspect your hitch if it is installed
-blinkers, headlights, highbeams, brakelights
-RUST, (you should look into this, there are alot of rules and specifics)

I'm trying to remember more.... I'll update if I think of anything else.

You should contact the MTO, they'll be able to explain more. They probably have an info package.

Good Luck,

Jebby,

Add the licence plate light to North's list.

Rust is okay as long as its not taking over the vehicle.. a little rust not an issue.. But holes in the Cab compartment are.. holes in the box would normally not be an issue.. but anything at all in the cab will definately need repair.. my old man's a mechanic, and I think with the other guys posts, your pretty much covered.
