oil mixture

The mixture should be 50:1, 50 litres of gas to one litre of oil.

safest way I know to mix is in a 20 liter jerrycan
400 ml of oil for 20 liters of gas for 50 to 1

Here's a site that I use a lot when mixing different sized gas cans and oil/gas ratios for the outboard, chainsaw, etc.....

Since I suffer from CRS (Can't Remember Stuff); I've started labeling the different gas cans using duct tape. I list the ratio and which chainsaw, weedeater etc. Now if I can only remember where I put my pen ....

50/1

It really doesn't matter the make of motor but most are 50/1 and at that ratio the motor will last more than 20 years. At 100/1 like yamaha recommmends for their engines the live will be half that. But they smoke less BIG DEAL they last longer.

Error on the side of caution. You may go through a plug or 2 ,but to burn a motor up is a bad deal.Go heavy on the oil.
