oil question

i have a merc 90 horse oil injected and am wondering if the nautilus oil a canadian tire is ok to use, ussually it was used with mercury premium plus 2 cycle Both appear to have the same specs looking for some insight. am also still despertly seeking an adukt life jaccket on that flips you over if you fall in. thanks

I have been using Shell Nautilus TCW III in my Merc for many years.....no regrets.

i have a 75 jonhson 9.9 2 stroke and i was running it on the nautilus @ canadian tire.

i had oil comming out of the exaust. and i ask a marine specialist.

he told me my mix was to rich.

and that i should switch to synthech oil. and lower my mix 60 /1

but maybe this has something to do with old engins.

I have run that for years in my red band 115 merc.,it mixes 500ml,to 25 litres of gas,for 50 to 1 mix.,i usually go 24 litres,a tad richer mix.,sometimes she smokes a little at low idle,but she runs clean and smooth @WOT.,and the main thing is, she doesn't ever run lean.(absolute no no for any 2 stroke)

thanks guys i did forget to mention my motor is oil injected hopefully its no difference

My 100hp Merc. is injected as well.

Nautilus is on sale at Canadian Tire. Bought two 4 litre jugs today. Have at it boys.

I have been using Amsoil HP Injector with zero issues. Almost no smoke now.
