New stuff from Navionics

Post by wallyandre »

If you own a card from another company you can use a Navionics Update card to get a Navionics+ card. This is place since March 2015
http://navionics.force.com/kb/articles/ ... earch&pn=1
This is the list of the one that can be use:
- Garmin Bluechart
- Garmin Bluechart G2
- Garmin Vision
- TRAK marine & Lakes cards
- Lowrance Insight cards
- Lowrance Insight HD cards
- Lakemaster cards for Lowrance
- Fishing Hot Spots cards
- CMAP MAX on SD/mSD
- CMAP NT+ on SD/mSD
- CMAP NT on SD/mSD
The only difference between using a Navionics Update card with a older Navionics card version is: you can use any other brands that are list on my 1st post and you will be ending with a Navionics+ and you are still own you're Bluechart or Insight or wathever.
The Navionics updates card retails for $99 usd and is the same as a Navionics + card once it is activated. The Navionics + card is stand alone so anyone can go buy it and use it. The updates card used to require that the buyer had anolder Navionics card to activate it. That's why it is cheaper then a Navionics + card, you were getting a discount for being an existing Navionics owner. Now you can activate a Navionics updates card with any of the cards listed above so if you have a competitor map card you can use that to active a Navionics updates card.
Same process describe on this link except you can also use other brands:
