I have humble boat. Just a little 12 foot Sea Nymph and a 6.5, and a transom mount trolling motor. I love it.
Just got a fish finder. I have everything installed, but my question is about the power source.
Is it going to be okay running this off the 12V I use for my trolling motor?

I run 2 units, pumps, lights and trolling motor all off one 12V battery with no issue.
I have heard that there could be interference issues, but i haven't had any

As shown, it can be done.
I took the advice of others and run my units off of my cranking battery. They are nothing special and the helm unit works fine but I still have interference on my bow unit when I turn my TM on. It would be worse if that unit was ran off the deep cycle.
my buddy has a similar setup to you and runs his graph off of a small AGM battery. the battery weighs 5-10 pounds and powers his unit for a full day on the water.
