Thanks for the pics! Although it wouldn't work for the lock area I was talking about, I could easily use one of these for the thumb screw in the middle of the unit.

That's exactly where mine is, the thumb screw hole. Had it originally on my Lowrance on the dash but put it on the motor while it's in the driveway at home, finders come off at home. Comes with multiple screws for different size finder mounts but one fits the thumb screw hole perfectly.
