Mercury Outboard Repair

Post by meteorbrews »

Hey All,

I recently got a boat and it has an older Mercury 115hp from the 70's. It's hard as hell to start for the first time of the day and can even struggle once it's warm. Can anyone recommend a good mercury repair shop to take motor to? I live near Kemptville.

Thanks!

Cheers

Pirate Cove is right in your area. Out river road towards 416

I've heard good things from both but I have only used Pirate Cove out of the two.

Either place will treat you right though.

Just a thought but a can of Seafoam might be a real cheap alternative to a shop for a start. I refer it as a tuneup in a can.

I second what smitty55 said, the first thing to try is a can of Seafoam. Available at CTC.
