New Boat electronics help

Post by BrokenThrone »

I have an Ulterra I pilot link coming in and I haven't owned a boat in 10 years so the nav is a little confusing. I will be getting the Helix 7 DI G2n with it and I am wondering what maps card I should get for Ontario Fishing.
Any suggestions.

Thanks

Your best bet is the Navionics+ or the navionics+ regional. The nav+ has all available maps of Canada and the U.S., the regional covers Canada only. Your link will not follow the contours in a Navionics card though. For that you can use the maps you can build with the Auto-Chart.

Thanks all.

Sorry Ed I bought one from someone on fishhawk. I will take a drive down there this week though.

So I got the chip but now I'm stuck. I did everything that I was supposed to do, reg, got a name, uploaded reader, and now I can't do anything g else.
How do I actually use the blue pins because I do not have them . I only have the updates tab. No new map tab. Did I miss something?
