Cloudy console windshield

Hi folks,
Both windshields on my dual console Lund have turned quite cloudy over the years. I'm thinking of trying one of those headlight lens cleaning kits on them and was wondering if any of you had any experience using them, and could pass on any advice. Also, if anyone has an alternative solution, I would love to hear about it.
