I just recently purchased a minn kota fortrex for my boat. It doesn't have the universal transducer on it which didn't matter to me as i will be using an external transducer. My question is how to i line up the transducer on the trolling motor? I had it hooked up to a maxxum before but didn't really know what i was doing and just put it on. I would like to have it perfect this time so any help would be appreciated. The transducer is the XTM 9 DI 25 T transducer.

I've seen a lot of aftermarket brackets online that would probably work, a quick search on Amazon or eBay brings them up. Can't vouch for them one way or the other but they look pretty slick!
