Best way to mount transducer to trolling motor
Hey all: I have a fish finder I want to install in the front of the boat and connect the transducer to the trolling motor. Anyway my motor spins solid thru out ( no spinning inside unit ) and I am concerned about if the motor does a complete 360 and the cable wraps around when this happens. Anyway has anyone mounted to one of these units and what do you do for slack in cable and mounting to bottom of trolling motor?? I do not have the optional accesories to attach it so it will be gerry rigged on for the MS Bassin this weekend. Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated. Oh and I need answers right away. I am going to install this today at some point.

They have mounting kits for TM fish finder easy install as for the 360 spin you'll have to pay attention and not let that happen

Oh great Chris thanks for that..lol. Now not only do I need to worry about the docks, rocks, weeds and stumps with the trolling motor but now I have to make sure I dont get my cable tangled around it...lol.
Anyone know if there are any kits available right now anywhere??
My other thought was a piece of 2x4 attached to the transducer and then clamp the wood to the motor. Not pretty but might work on a temp basis
