Duck Identification

Post by tinboat »

Hey guys, can anyone confirm that these are juvenile mallard drakes? Or am I completely wrong? They don't exactly match the descriptions or pictures for either hens or drakes that I can find online. Thanks!

I would also say mallard due to the while border on both sides of the coloured feathers on the wing. Sometimes black ducks and mallards will cross breed though which makes it harder to say for certain.
