How's the ramp at Shirley's?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

How's the ramp at Shirley's?

Post by Flipper »

Gonna be a really nice day tomorrow and thinking of Shirley's Bay.
Anyone know the condition of the ramp in this heatwave?

I was scouting it out on Sat.
A bit soupy by shore, 2 were out I car and 1 truck, did not seem to bad, but after the mild weather I would use extreme caution by shore.

Its messy out off the main launch. I worked with the NCC and they recently moved 2 boulders from each side of the ramp. You can now go east or west off the ramp to avoid the busted ice. I was out yesterday with no issues at all going on or off. Its slippy out there though. Wear boot spikes :)
