Been hitting a number of different locations on the Ottawa both east and west of the city for approximately the last 8-10 years now and sometimes get confused. I believe its Wendover that we've hit the last couple of years and Rockland before...

I'm from the states and come up there once a year and launch from Rockland. I've never had to pay a fee before. Is this something new or have I just gotten lucky and slipped through the cracks. Please educate me.

If you don't mind risking a few nightmares, check out this website www.garfishing.com. Here in Ohio we have plenty of the longnose but thank God no alligat...

DV_8, We fished the same area the 12th and 13th of this month. After taking a break from trolling, throwing spinnerbaits (white/chartruese) seem to be the ticket for taking both smallies and largemouth. Although I was throwing muskie-size spinners both my partners had scaled down and were kicking my...

Thanks for the welcome guys. First year going back to the states that U.S. customs asked for a picture ID and birth certificate. Out of our group of nine, I was the only one without a birth certificate, couldn't find it before we left. First year in 20 years they've asked for it. Told us anyone 14 a...

Ottawa River, Thanks

New member here. First time posting. Tried an earlier post but it didn't take, thought I'd try again. Been coming up on vacation for the past 20 years. My wife's Canadian and her family owns a cabin on a lake in the Wakefield area. Great smallmouth fishing! For the past 6 years we've been venturing ...
