I stick with the light dark routine. There was a study done on champlain a few years ago, where they poured a ton of custom colors and broke up the anglers into teams with only one colored senko, over a few days results were very even. team green pumkin didn't catch any more then team purple.

To me I think the best part is this gives anglers that may fear this body of water a bit, cause it can be challenging and is huge....
A chance to get some help figuring it out.. Plus the chance of catching a 7 or 8 pound smallie.... 7 pounders are caught every year...

navionics app is worth the money. I generally use it on a tablet, works just about every where in northamerica, there is some Ottawa area lakes missing. last I checked I think white lake is missing. Great for ice fishing, and studying maps in hotel rooms when on the road. you can turn the route line...

Personally I have followed this new tread of using these bright colored braids, (chartreuse, yellow etc) so I feel the need for a fluorocarbon leader. Reason for bright lines is it makes it easy to see line movement on bait fall, etc. Of course the kvd marker trick works when you need to use straigh...
