Re: Sourcing Crestliner Parts
Great idea, thought never actually crossed my mind. Any recommendations? I can imagine shipping would be above and beyond. However Winnipeg is about 8 hours, so if prices is right, might just be worth the road trip.

Re: Sourcing Crestliner Parts
That's actually a great recommendation Norm. I would assume a good portion of the cost could be associated to shipping/brokerage charges. If you could find a marina close enough to the border that you could go pick up the console, you may be able to save some money after declaring duties to make it...

Re: Sourcing Crestliner Parts
Check U.S dealers as well. You might also want to check walleye boat boards to see if someone has one to sell. Funny, I was looking through some other boards as well, thats how I came to think that the price was a bit high. I was seeing others doing adding the console, granted to older Fish Hawks, ...

Re: Mounting a Helix 7di G2N
Sorry for the long delay in getting back. Life happens. I finally on the Helix 7 mounted the day before opener. I'll get a couple pics soon. But i ended up using a RAM. https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-202-24-202U Works perfectly. I think i'm also going to pick up another ball, "Y" split...

Re: Sourcing Crestliner Parts
Wow, no kidding. I thought that was a bit high, but maybe not. I'm not looking for a bargain, just a fair price. I'm also going to check with a couple repair shops in the area as well.

I was sharing my two cents as this just happened to me as well. I agree as well with what both you are saying.

Sourcing Crestliner Parts
Hi Guys, Little bit of a tricky, touchy subject, but does anyone have a way of locating parts for a 2017 Fish Hawk 1650? I'm looking to add the port side console and having some difficultly. I've talked to the dealer I purchased the boat from and they want close to $800.00 for it. II can't believe t...

Re: Helix 5 or Helix 7???
I debated between the 5 and 7 as well. I ended up going for the 7DI G2N on a SC boat. Figured I'd make it fit one way or another. I'm thrilled I went bigger. As it turned out, my cousin has a 5 on their boat. Over opener we were comparing, the bigger screen made a big difference.

Re: Helix 7 DI/GPS cutting out when I start engine
Interesting thought. I just into something similar i guess. The first time using my Helix 7 on the boat. Took the boat out of storage, hooked up the Helix 7, got er out on the water everything was fine. Also i noticed that it would occasional reboot. I couldn't figure out why. The next couple of con...

Re: Mounting a Helix 7di G2N
I'd roll with the shorter arm if possible. Lock er down and she shouldn't ever move. If you get the longer one it may have room to fall... RJ I also have a Ram mount on a Lund Rebel 1625, I got one with the longer arm so it can swivel and be used when fishing from the bow. It does not look like the...

Mounting a Helix 7di G2N
Hi guys, I picked up a Helix 7 at the boat show this spring(winter actually) and will be mounting here in the next couple weeks hopefully. Curious what your thoughts or recommendations would be. This will be a cockpit mount as well. I have FishHawk 1650 SC. The boat is still all wrapped up so i have...
