I got hooked on Muskie last year and usually fish with a bait caster. I was bringing out buddies who never used a baitcaster so I rigged up a spinning outfit so they could come out and give it a try. I had a huge Diawa salt water spinning real that I bought a few years back and I matched it up with ...

I would make sure that the type of boat I pick is built for the species and conditions I like to fish and also the activites I want it to do. Aside from age and make some things that may be important to you could be. A modified V hull so you don't plow. A deep transom for safety in rough water, A wi...

Me and DV_8 made our own in-line boards for last weeks Quite blow out. We basically followed the instructions from Walleye guy's second web site. We used real downrigger clips instead of alligator clips. We ran them on Friday and found that they flopped over toward the rod side and didn't run out fa...

Friday from the east at 20 km/hr 100% POP, Saturday south west at 30 km/hr 80% POP and Sunday south west at 25 km/hr 40% POP.

It was likely a musky. I would have thrown the biggest bait in my box. I caught one in a simular situation when it inhailed the 13 inch Bass I was fighing up near the boat. The jig popped out of the Basses mouth as it was swallowed and it ended up in the corner of the Musky's mouth. I managed to pul...

High speed trolling spinner baits on the Ottawa River. I've ordered some Fudalley spinners from the states and haven't got them yet but in the mean tim...

Does anybody know where I can buy Fudally, Tandem Willow Leaf Spinner baits? I sent Fudally a fax and haven't been able to get a response. I also spoke to the folks at Real to Real Plus and they said they tried to sell them but they couldn't get a response from Fudally either. Alternatively does any...
