I will be heading up September 12th and will be renting a boat out of Bolsover, unless someone else has a better suggestion for rentals. Anyone have any advise? we wil...

So here is my question if you could make 2 single day trip within 2ish hours of toronto where would you go? I am looking for one su...

Fish of 1 casts?

I have read this forum for a long time and posted a few times, so I know most of you guys don't know me but I though I would share my first Muskie story here. Well I headed out to Scugog this after noon and was looking for some bass but they just were not cooperating, so we decided we would try for ...

A quick baitcasting question

Just a quick and probably silly question, but are baitcasting reels reversible like most spinning/sincasting reels are? I am just starting to look into buying one and was just curious. Thanks in advance

Thanks I like the name too. We went down and found this great dridge that you can climb down so you are fishing right from the channel as opposed to from shore. We caught some bass and pike but the weeds are just too thick right now. There were almost no lures I could get through. If i had more time...

Castable fish finders

Has anyone ever used one of these. They are pretty expensive still, but I do not own a boat and fish from shore or rent a boat ( they generally do not come with a fish finder). So does anyone have any input?

Try the bog. Lake scuggog that is . It has every thing that you are looking for and not too far from your home. There are three boat rental choices and good fishing at all parts of this lake. The lake is shallow and never really gets too rough. If you do decide to try it look me up and I might just...

Shore fishing in the Toronto Area

I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice on good shore fishing spots. I have fished a few with little success. I was at ashbridges bay today and was fishing just from the public launch and caught a 3lb large mouth and something bigger hit my lure but I missed it. Is there a better area as I ...
