There are a couple of Shark Tourneys held in Nova Scotia in the summer in Yarmouth and the Eastern Passage in Fishermans Village just outside of Darthmouth was sponsored by Shimano. I met one on the charter operators there by the name of Al in the Fishing Show and he had some amazing videos.

Sounds like Bacon's gonna be fishing everyday.
I'll be exploring the Haliburton Highlands this year mostly for some big bass. I've fished the kawarthas to my hearts content and its time to go somewhere else.

Last year, I started experimenting with it in heavy cover working it just like a slug and caught some decent bass. I tried wacky style on the ...

Hi There SnagThis, The reels are certainly collectables, the level wind almost looks like a penn. It's even spooled with German Line by DAM Quick which is tri-colour line to identify distance when trolling. At one point, the company Mitchell and Garcia were one company from yesteryear and produced t...

 Check with your choice of taxidermist if you can repaint skin mounts that has faded. The paints applied by airbrushing now is more durable compared to what has been used years ago on skin mounts. I know that Shawn and James from Advanced were doing restorations of record mounts from yesteryear.

Here's one of my better bass this summer but she didn't have the girth to her yet. It was caught in mid-august in the pads and it was as long as a cooler.
