Dad-daughter fishing again after 10 years in far-far north
http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i52/scurochiaro/Kesagami%2014/IMG_9984.jpg About a dozen years ago I went fishing with my young daughter for the last time on a weekend trip. We bet gummy bears for biggest fish and first fish caught. Life caught up with us both and I lamented the fact that I shoul...

BC interior big lake fishing report
http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i52/scurochiaro/bc%202014/IMGP0178.jpg The trip had been hatched on the notion that it would have two parts. My mom was returning to Banff nearly 50 years later and I was to fish for a few days on what looked to be a promising BC lake. http://i69.photobucket.com/al...

Re: trolling deep for lakers
The answer is leadcore...you cover a lot more leadcore then jigging...you troll to find good jigging spots.Leadcorealso has it's unique benefits, one of which is of getting into tight places where downriggers are freightened of hanging up.

Requirements of a storage shed for most boats
My wife is determined to build a studio shed for herself. This could be a property that we only hold for about 5 years so I'm thinking of the angle of future buyers which could include boaters. What are the dimensions of a decent sized shed to store most boats? Anything else the shed should have?

Re: Rain suits
Gortex stlll feels damp which is a real bummer on cold rainy days when you want to feel warm. We went traditional with wetskins stormfront suits. My wife and I are often called the bananas but we are always the last ones back with heavy rainfalls. The added bonus is the suit doesn't have to be dried...

Fishing lakers in 90k bc lake - advice?
I'm always up for a new challenge and opportunity arose when my mother said she would like to tour BC. We will see Banff and Jasper but we are stopping off on one of the many huge BC inland lakes. Fishing for lakers in BC is like fishing eels in Ontario. There is a small group who fish them but most...

Re: Lake Whitefish while Laker Fishing Big Rideau ?
I have heard of people trolling for them..thought of it myself..you'll need a small hook...they go deep quick in the year! Lakers have been known to set up just below them.

http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i52/scurochiaro/kipawa/IMGP0270.jpg My dog looks out onto the lake and then at me and growls in a low voice if we don't have a fish in the boat within the hour. When you hook one she is right beside you waiting for you to bring it in...and then she wants to sniff i...
