Horwood Lake
Going up to Horwood Lake in September and staying at the White Moose cabins on the island. Anyone have any experience on the lake? Going up with a couple of peeps that have been before but always like input from others that have fished the lake. Thanks in advance!

I am going up to Quebec for 10 days of walleye and pike and was going to try out the Slow Death hooks but I think that the water is too stained and the fish wouldn't be able to find them like they would a worm harness giving off lots of vibrations.... Ch...

You won't have to travel very far at all from the launch..... and if it's a nice day you will see all kinds of boats out there so if you run into trouble you should be fine.....I see smaller boats out there all the time.....don't worry about structure or how many feet of water...just go with all the...

Hey Jebby! Stick around the Yacht Club(Windsor side of the mouth), you should be fine there with your boat....you can always tuck in if the weather blows up on you.... As for colours?? Jebby, limits are being caught 3 miles east of Peache Island....just south of the dumping grounds....make sure to stay on the Canadian side unless you have an American fishing license....use bottom bouncers with worm harnesses.....you should catch everything from walleye, perch, sheephead and bass.....
