Re: Lanark/Kayak/Trout
Thanks for the info. Smitty: Would Peterwhite hike in be manageable with a kayak on a dolly? For Kate's and Duncs, it looks like the walking trail is of Darling 6th C.? Parking available? Corvus: Thanks for that too. I was hoping to only go as far as Lanark, living in Ottawa and trying to make a hal...

Lanark/Kayak/Trout
Hi all, Hoping to get out in the coming weeks and was thinking I may try and get the kayak out on a trout-stocked lake in Lanark. Does anyone have intel on some accessible ones? I was thinking Peterwhite, but unsure how accessible it would be with a kayak/dolly/etc.. Would obviously post all the pic...

Thanks, Smitty!
If I can't find it from a Canadian retailer I will have to order $50+ to get the free shipping

Looking for a bass fly
Hi group!
While we wait for the smoke to clear, I thought I'd ask to see if anyone knows where to buy this fly! I don't remember where I originally found it, but it has been the most productive bass fly and I'm down to only one...

Re: Easton's Creek
Thanks for the replies! Pretty much right in line with my thinking too, which is great to hear.
I figure I'll just march on in with waders, fly rod & backpack and see how it goes. I just hope I don't have to spend more time bushwacking than fishing!

Congrats, Jim!
Now, can you finally leak where the trout are in the Ottawa/Gatineau area?

Re: Jock River water levels
I've been planning on getting out on the Jock for some time now.. is it wadable in most areas? Some Google map research kinda looks like some parts are a little wide/deeper, so I haven't decided if it's a kayak trip or waders only!

La Pêche River
Hi! I was just curious if there is any fishing to be had on La Pêche River... East of Wakefield where the Gatineau drains into. I had driven by it quite a few times last year and thought perhaps this Spring I'll make a weekend day trip over to see what's what. Anyone have insight? Need to make an ex...

Re: Gatineau Area Trout Hunt with even more pictures now!
I'm always interested in some trout streams near Ottawa.. if anyone wants to head out once the weather warms up let me know! I've recently added a 3wt to my arsenal!
