I'm heading up to deep river either the 26th or 27th and hoping to take my brother out icefishing. I have no idea of ice conditions or where to fish.

As the season rolls on and the water cools even more, it will actually be harder to get fish under 25inch. Sheldon knows his stuff.ee. My suggestion would to try cranks at dusk to night in 10 - 20 ft of water . We had great success on big gull a few years back.Oh yeah try a florocarbon leader as well in clear water.

Hey Brian,I picked up the 565 from Ed this past winter and love it.The detail is great showing me strcuture and bait schools not seen on my old one,it ran around 270. Great finder for the price.
