We normally only go during the week too. The ice has been thick enough for quite a while. We normally catch a good amount of perch and a few pike, but haven't caught any other species yet. Try the weed beds of the lake; there are several.

Went out in the bay on sunday a bit further than most of the huts. The bite didn't turn on until prime time around 4 oclock, and we caught 4 sauger, the tiniest walleye I've ever seen, and a perch. Surprised to see in the earlier posts that someone caught a burbot!
