Never fished the lake but if you need a meal when there check out Maples restaurant.
Stopped there on our ATV trip.
Excellent chicken wings & the wife said her wrap special was also very good.

Same issue with me... I called Rogers and they told me that the only way to get WFN now is to subscribe to it online directly with them. They also told me that no other competitor (ie. Bell) offers this channel either. I haven't had a chance to shop around to see if that's true or not. Definitely n...

A couple other things to mention here are, 1: Check the zone Exemptions for the zone your in. Where you are may not have the same rules as the general Zone. 2: If close to the Zone Boundary the exact boundary is not always easily identifiable. If in doubt you can go on the MNR website and closely ch...

That's a real shame. At the very least report him to the BBB. You could also post on OOD and OFC to warn others about this guy Cheers What many don't realize is that the BBB is not an independent consumer protection organization. It is an organization ran by a group of business owners as members. T...

Does the quebec license work the same as Ontario's in that kids fall under their parent's license or do they need one as well? In Ontario kids under 18 years of age (and are Canadian residents) do not fall under their parents license but are deemed to be full license holders themselves. Only time c...

I have had the lowrance x-67c for 3 plus years now and it is STILL running like a champ. Battery is just now starting to show degradation but only a little bit. Price is pretty amazing considering you can use this in the summer as well with a different 'ducer. Highly recommend it for the budget con...

Also a version is available for android phones for about $15. As stated earlier no data connection is required as long as you downloaded the maps. Last year between Christmas and New Years I downloaded the app as we drove through Toronto on route to Temagami. Used it ice fishing where I had no signa...

I'll second the piece of pool noodle but secure with 3 large electrical pull ties.
Tighten enough that the wire will slide if pulled but hold it's place when not being pulled on.

Slammers which use a tensioned pole but do not use a spring to set the hook are legal in Ontario.
I have an "E" Mail answer from the ministry on the subject on my other computer.
I will post it here latter to settle this point.
