DAY 1

Hey MT, It's a Ranger not a Nitro! And yes, we are thinking we need 2 boats! My daughter has been bit by the tournament bug! You may see us more next year - sponsors are welcome!!!! It was pretty exciting here last night - recaps of yesterday's events and strategy for today! I've got my fingers cros...

YUM Dingers

We still have a good selection of YUM Dingers in stock. Don't have the smoke/pearl in the 5" size but do have a similar colour in the Wave Worm version. We've got a 20 foot wall of senko type baits - I'm sure you could find something you'd like. I don't mind bringing them into Kanata for you - ...

THANKS!

Thanks Float for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself - I really enjoy putting on these tournaments. The hard work is all worth it when everyone stays around at the end for food, drinks and always lots of prizes! It was an interesting start to the day - Bobber hunting deer on the way here, ...

Wish I Had Known

Hey Mark, Float just told me this morning that you didn't have a boat. Wish I had known earlier - I probably could have hooked you up with someone. There were a couple of people debating about fishing it because they didn't have a partner. Next time! I guess I should have a "people looking for ...

Tourney

Hey Mark,

If you don't find a partner just wanted to let you know that you are welcome to fish it on your own. There's nothing saying you have to have 2 in the boat. And, if you win you don't have to split the money!
Hope we see you out,

He's Back!

Gordo, It was great to meet you the other night and it's great you're well enough to get back out in the boat. Glad you caught some fish too - of course with RJ driving the boat how could you not??? Hope you will feel like making it out Saturday - if we got a day like today it would be perfect! Lake...

LUCKY OR NOT?

MT,

I hope your not having a partner has nothing to do with your being Lucky Team #13!

MISSISSIPPI OPENING WEEKEND

We were really surprised by the small number of boats out on Saturday. Sunday there seemed to be more people out but we didn't hear any reports of anyone lucking into any nice walleye. Lots of pike and bass being caught like you said RRC. Mike went out for a couple of hours Sunday morning but had no...

Lens Colours

Hey Joe, This is the information that Bluewater Optics provides about the various lens colours: BLUEWATER lenses give you 100% protection for harmful UVA and UVB as well as maximum infrared protection, blocking out heat light that cause red tired sore eyes after a long day on the water. Selective bl...

Power Pro all the way!

Mike and I use the 30lb PowerPro on our spinning reels and 50 (and this year 65lb test) on the baitcasters. He used to be a Trilene XT guy for spinning but has been using the PowerPro for 3 years now and is extremely happy with it.

Keep Em Cold

When we keep leeches the trick seems to be to keep them cold and keep the water changed. We keep them in a bucket in the fridge with the worms (but we have a fridge designated for just that purpose!) I can certainly understand Joco's wife - I personally don't do the leech thing! I'll serve minnnows,...

Hey Sheldon,

Is this the tourney you're taking me in? I've attended and paid attention at everyone of your seminars! I can catch them through the ice and we may still have some then!

ICE HUT ACCOMMODATION

I have a few ice huts that are not being used any more this year - perhaps we could install cots and heaters and get some of you guys that are farther away up here! Have those who have said they are coming all pre-registered??? If not could you please give us a quick call or send an email so we can ...
