Great report Spike...I love seeing new species of fish and scenery. So can one touch a sea cucumber without adverse side effects? It looks like the person in the picture wants nothing to do with it.

Has Marcum bought the Showdown flasher?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone in the know, pro-staffer, or FH sponsor has seen the Marcum brand being linked to the Showdown flashers (previously VPG from Nature Vision). I know there have been lots of reviews of this products the last few years, but I was wondering if Marcum has bought the unit as...

Thanks for the replies Hawkers. Ty... that big sheepie of Aaron's weighed in at 27.5 pounds. The official record fish is 21.53. 6lb difference, both great fish, but Aaron's was released so the lighter fish stays in the books. Jeff... those sheepie fight better than the eyes as you'd expect with the...

Wow, I have never seen Sheepshead that big before in my life   8) :) ! Those fish look like they're bread near a nuclear reactor of some kind. The other gamier fish are great, but I most enjoyed the drum and the huge White Bass. Pretty cool! How do those sheepies fight by the way? tigh...

Wow, the NASA lake smallies are incredible. Looks like you and BA had them dialed in this year....very impressive. Equally impressive is the home workstation setup...looks like something out of a command center of some sort :) . Here's to 100+ days on the water next year!

Another beautiful specimen, Mike! I love the late fall look with all the downed leaves...wonderful time of the year. Were you all by yourself for this trip and will you hike into these lakes in the winter to try your hand through the ice?

You're not kidding about the STEEL part. Some of those fish look to be stainless steel with a layer of chrome added for good measure. Way to mix it up RJ... a new-found appreciation for Walleyes and now it sounds as if you'll be expanding the tackle and gear to fish the tribs.

RJ, Anyone that has ever fished a lot in their lifetime is always wishing for the day when the planets align and the fish go berserk (as you experienced). It happens on occasion and it keeps us all coming back to see if TODAY is going to be the day. Happy to hear you actually got into a bite like th...
