I was attacking them in the winter using traditional crappie lures (tubes , wax warms ) with no luck until I put on live minnows, man those fish are crazy, one even swallowed my 3 inch swedish-pimple with the minnow on ...

Is there a place to launch on berry sord road ? Are they all private property by the lake ? I always launch my canoe on the other side of the lake and pay $5 for parking in front of the resturant.

I found this cool video of ht windlass

I found this interesting video

http://www.htent.com/video/htent07.wmv

can't wait to try it on the ice. the video does mention one disadvantage of line freezing because the spool is above the water.

I also wonder where you can pick one up around ottawa.

fishing is allowed from the park's website : http://www.canadascapital.gc.ca/gatineau/outdoor_activities/summer/water_sports/fishing_e.asp I fished there on my 16 ft caone, I think I spent most of my time canoeing rather than fishing. It's a perfect lake for swimming, kayaking and canoeing, just don...

about 2% natually hatched walleye will survive to catchable size. there is very little chance for 1000 stock fry.

Ice fishing is a better way to spend the holiday than boxing day shopping, plus I 've learned that there is no good stuff in boxing day sale. my plan is to get minnow in petrie first. one last question, could somebody tell me how to get there? ( where nation mee...
