Actually I held it and my daughter ( 13 yrs old at the time ) took a quick pic as she was amazed at the sight of the mouth wide open. Luck had it that it turned out so well.

I have ordered parts in the past from this lad in the States.

Very good service and easy to conduct business with. I have ordered a tiller handle grip and a gas tank cap for my 1935 Johnson 8.1.

Bow Mount Adapter
Hi Nodie... I made this mount for my 14 ft tinny. Problem was that there was not enough room beside the 9.9 to install the transom mount. http://www.fish-hawk.net/photogallery/albums/userpics/P8050006.JPG I used a Galvanized Dock fitting ( will not rust ) and Zinc coated hardware to attach it to the...

olddies...
This is the same slick I found with my 1935 Johnson 8.1 hp when running it late this summer. Checked the bottom end and the oil is good. Probably going to work on it cosmetically this winter.
Nothing like the satisfaction of having an olddie like that push you around the lake.

Minnkota Trolling Motor Mount
Here is a inexpensive way to make an electric trolling motor mount. I did not have enough room beside the Outboard to put the Minnkota, so I came up with this cheap and solid way. I used a corner dock bracket from Rona and zinc bolts and nuts. The bracket is already Galvanized so no rust. Very solid...

Hi Dave, Try this site to determine the actual hp and year of the motor. Looks like if its a 9.9 its from the 70's. http://www.old-omc.de/index2.html Once you have the year, post a msg in http://www.outboardrepairs.com/lubrication/#evinrude_lubrication for your best chance at oil mixes. For my old 1...
