I was wondering if there was any shore fishin spots down in the calobogie area.. i know no there is ice fishing.. Any advice is great. I am going for any species.. just want to catch some fish.

I have fished for pike so much there with no luck.. where have u caught them. (lower, upper) or do you know what bay.

I have a cottage on lake mazinaw. i know the lake pretty well. the shoal is on the lower part of mazinaw. If you are going from the narrow you follow the like the rock cliffs all the way to the end where the lake will open up. when you get to the end of the rock you go off that point and about 200 y...

Went to dechenes rapids .... no luck fish werent biting. caught a little perch and that was it. Hopefully i will get out to victoria soon

Hey Al when we were there the biggest one i saw was like 4-5 and there was a 8 pound wallaye caught there too. to go for wallaye u have to go close to shore near all the docks.. good luck and have fun..

I was at bark lake earlier this year.. fishing wasnt bad.. caught alot of ling for bait all we used were jigging spoons and we did not bad on the lakers. I dont no how much ice is there now but when we were there in febuary there was around 15 inches...

I have a hut out on shirley's. Last weekend when I was there, there was a good 20-25 inches of ice. I don't know if i will be there sunday.. but will try to get out..

Heading down to Bark lake for an ice fishing trip this weekend. Never fished there. Anyone know how the fishing is. I know that there are pickerel, trout, pike and perch from reading the website. Any advice would be great.
