Rainbow trout report

Well my trip for Browns was a bust, other then finally getting the yak out on a good trip. So not to be, deterred, I decided that another trip was in order. Booked Thursday & Friday off, loaded my camping stuff into the boat and off I went. The weather was a little iffy on Thursday, but as long ...

Well as a new found kayak fishing fisherman I kinda agree with Joco to an extent. If NCC feels that strongly about it make the lakes no gas motors in the park. There are plenty of parks both Provincial and Federal that don't allow gas motors. However don't fence off access.

Well long story short. I should have gone for Rainbows….. Oh well, it was a nice 2 days, well 24hrs anyway to commune with nature. I had bought a fishing kayak off a fellow fish hawker last summer and with the exception of a few hours here and there I still hadn’t had a chance to put it through ...

Brown Trout

Heading out tomorrow and Friday for some fishing, I may try the Browns it has been a while since I last tried for them. Has anyone been having success, what have you been using? I know the lakes, just trying to get an idea of what’s working. They can be difficult to say the least.

Well I agree with something RJ alluded to, With a handle like hook line and sinker, I think most took it. Well played hook line and sinker well played indeed. I can only hope that the trout in these stocked, "secret lakes" take the bait as eagerly as the posters on this board did :l...

Well it’s not as if Sports pal is giving away any state secrets here. I mean he is just giving the guy a few spots to try and good on him for doing that. I could see if he was dropping names of lakes that are delicate or those remote ones that we’ve spent literately weeks trying to find, hours g...
