what a nice post silverlakejimmy. I still think of John every time I see a fishing rod, a bass boat, a carp net, bag of boillies, auger or anything in between. I moved in across the street from John in 1994 when I was 9 years old. He gave me my first real job a couple years later; packaging fishing ...

Hey gang!
I'm heading out east (Nova Scotia, Cabot Trail, etc.) for a road trip and I want to know some info! I'm guessing there are lots of trout lakes and streams?? Anyone know how much a license costs? Any sweet honey holes I should try??
How about any surf fishing??? HELP!!!!!

I think the most correct theory is that carp are huge fans of Pointer Sisters, Van Halen, Kriss Kross, AND Everlast's House of Pain. But a really knowledgable carp fisherman told me, and from my own carp fishing trips, I am pretty sure the most likely reason is that the carp are clearing their gills...

Reading all the posts from you guys is awesome. It's really cool when I read posts from Mike about the walleye on the crappie rig, and Richard landing a carp after loading up the boat, and Lonnie talk about John's trip down south for crappie and cats, and all the other stories that other have posted...

I tihnk it was around 1996 when John offered me my first job ever. It was the greatest job any kid could ever have, especially a kid who likes fishing! J...

Ice fishing Lake Simcoe
Heading out from Lindsay and lookin to hit Simcoe. Where would be the best place to get on the ice from HWY-7? Where would be good on the east side of the lake in the Beaverton area?
We're heading out tomorrow around 10 after school. Thanks for any help!
