I learned on the BPS extreme combo and I'm still usin it. Bought it this year and it was the perfect learning reel/rod. Its no shimano or anything else but its worth it.

I did wet my line but the problem was I was using the clinch knot and didn't wrap it nearly enough times. Another good trip. Good food good fun. Did you ever hear a louder f-bomb in your life when I broke off on that honkin fish? Man was I mad. Lots of little guys but no trophys. Next time I'll bring sonar and an engine.

According to the lifesaving soceity you should always keep ONE extra life jacket in case of emergency. It can be used as a throwing aid or other uses, not only to be worn.

I'd have to say tubes. But i'll probbaly switch to another rod just as quickly lol.

Gonna be flipping/pitchin/skippin docks in Lake Erie for Largies

They are out of spawning beds. Its open game for your knowledge. They won't be hoovering in one specific area but they will be in normal bass spots eg. docks, shallows, deep water humps.

Im heading out on the 24 and sitting on the bank till midnight and casting top water frogs for monster bass. Slop fishing at night in Lake erie. It will be a ball!

My fav is the picasso titanium series. My fav Stainless would be Booyah.

I have many including strike king titaniums, mini-kings etc. But those are my favorite.

If I had to pick between those 2 it would be picasso by a long shot.

I know it pains me to have to keep fish. Especially the big guys. But thats how they are on that lake. Im not saying keep em but don't let them see you release em. Most won't care but you might get the odd resident who will get upset.
