seriously if your goin to use white thats the best colour of spinnerbait. As for senkos white senkos work medeoker compared to a leach/watermelon/charteuse colour.

I fish the Big Rideau at my friends cottage all the time. Don't think we've ever been truly skunked. Try senkos, rattletrap type baits and spinnerbaits over weed beds but make sure to let it sink about 2-3 feet above the weeds seems to work. like esox said try taking off some line and read the amout of line/ pound test reccomendation on the reel. I put about 10 yard less then one it says and never gets knots or birds nest. I would prolly say if your sick of knots and birds nest's keep your spiining combo close until you get the hang of ...

This is the first time I've come in about a month. And after reading Wannafishes post replys ( It was a good report) and getting some of my repots bashed into the dirt it may be a while till I come back to this site. But I will still be doing what this site is ment for FISHING :roll:

My First Carp

Thanks everyone.. yeah its been a while since we posted. Wolfe, YFF is back and leaving again monday to go to Alberta for some trout. As for me I'm at the Big Rideau all weekend and will post if we get some.

Well its been a while since I have been home because i just got home from PEI. Before I left I went bass fishing with my cousin and big rideau basser. Theres some good bass in there. Have heard there are some pike around 6-8 pounds in there. Don't bother trying to catch walleye it was commrcially fished.
