Afternoon folks, I typically lurk in the background, as you have all provided me with a bit of a vicarious thrill. Too many years of too much work and not nearly enough time to fish. I am in the process of fixing that problem. One part of that solution is I am looking at buying a piece of waterfront...

a couple of suggestions... you can, potentially, get a better deal buying in the winter because once the spring comes the number of potential buyers increases exponentially... one way to check the waterfront is to bring along an ice augur and a long pole with either a screw or claw at the end... you...

I fished it off and on with my dad for years... very good bass, especially LM, and good pike... never picked up any walleye... one of the better spots is in front of the rather dilapidated cabin that is across the lake from the launch..

I have a cottage just downstream from the launch. Been in the area for about four years. There are a number of good walleye spots in the area. The narrows near Lacroix Bay can be good. If you head on up river to the otherside of Lac Colounge you will find a rather large sand bar, again good at night...
