Canadians becoming more prominent on US tours
Also, I forgot Team Ontario (B.A.S.S.) that fishes every year against some US teams at the amateur level.
Another fine example!

Canadians becoming more prominent on US tours
We'll, keep in mind that there are some Canadians that are starting to do better and better in the states such as Jon Bondy (BASS ELITE SERIES), Bob Izumi (some FLW events), Mike Desforges (did super well on the BASS Northern series last year) and Lawren Wetzel.
Hats off to those guys!

Fall Tournaments
Apart from the ones listed, does anybody know of any other tournaments going on in October near Ottawa or elsewhere in Eastern Ontario? I know that Sept. still holds some but I'm surprised that they are few and far between come October.

Muskrat river
The river can be good for largies and some pike and some bigger perch (including Mud Lk.) in the summer. As for the spring I do not know. In the fall most people stick with the lake. Keep in mind that the river is tricky to navigate in some areas. There is also a launch on the river just off Hwy 17 ...

Hi Jebby, If I can suggest 3 things to you it would be the following... If you don't think kids are in your future, go for a regular cab truck. To save money, instead of getting a 4wd consider getting one with a limited slip type rear axle (somtimes they could only be ordered with a six cyl.). It's ...

new store openings
Hey guys, just a quick note that two new stores have opened up in the area that you may wish to keep in mind. Techniques chasse/pêche has opened up in Gatineau (on Maloney, east of the Labrosse intersection). I find they cater to many types of fishermen and also have a few hard to find items (Lucky...

I've had good experiences at Lebaron's. I find the Gaffney brothers especially helpful especially when it comes to finding product or talking trends. Just a quick note concerning Cabela'- their store is planned to be near Mirabel, north of the city and not in MTL. itself. For more info go to their s...

I would have to say that bang for the buck you should consider a round Abu C3 as the other person suggested, they are well priced at many stores in the area. It is a very simple design that performs great and I have had very few backlashes with them. I know that Ed has some good deals on the basic S...
