Thanks for that. They are a lot more expensive than other suppliers I have since found in the U.S ($38.94), and the shipping is pricey too ($25.44). Having said that they appear to be the the only ones that will ship to Canada so I may have to 'bite the bullet' so to speak. Guess we are pretty used ...

Live well timer pod for Lund

Looking to source here in Ontario a replacement live well timer unit for my 2003 Lund. Current one has failed and it has no manufacturer/model/serial numbers on it at all. I don't seem to be able to find a supplier. It is a pretty common component (see picture) in Lund's of that year and still in us...

Somebody's trying to emulate BPS ?????  Good luck to them! It would not be too difficult as the guy at the Main Kingston store seems to have a real handle on what local anglers want/are seeking. Compete with the Vaughan BPS on price (should not be too difficult...they are pretty pricey...

A law like that will do nothing more than a cash grab. Same as the seat belt law just another way to pick our pockets. Ya....like when is the last time a seat belt saved a life  Good one...like I said...the thing with common sense is that it is not that common...as some of the posts on this t...

Bring it on! Not before time. The current legislation, though well meant, is illogical!

As to depending on people applying 'common sense', the only thing about common sense, is that it is not that common!

This city government is completely out of control and looks like they are not going to be able to stop this, they just seem completely dis-functional. People are going to have to start raising hell somehow....I just dont know how. People have posted in the past that it has been going on for decades...

2nd GPS/fish finder recommendations.

Looking to acquire a small GPS/Fishfinder combo to fit at the front of the boat to use when casting bass etc from there. I already have a Lowrance LCX 25C which is fixed onto the console. Looking at the Humminbird 597 ci Series Sonar/GPS Combo or the Humminbird 787 c2i Sonar/Internal GPS Combo as po...

Cheap reel you say = lop in the garbage Time for a new reel 8) Would have too agree. Having been involved in the retailing of 'cheapo' spinning reels, the philosophy of 'repairing a cheapo' is a non starter. It generally cost as much as the original purchase price to have them repaired (given that ...

It would appear that the consensus is that for the most part fishing shows suck? Might have something to do with the fact I rarely watch them anymore.... 8) But thanks for detailing exactly why that is the case.....

I'd just use regular exterior grade ply, personally leary of toxins in pressure treated wood. I built a 16' boat out of regular ply, just painted and it has stood up great to a lot of (ab)use. If you only want to do the job once...spring for the extra bucks and use marine ply....Been there, done th...
