That's a great fish -- bigger than many of the bass I catch. :D :D

I agree that attractants mask human scent which is very important. However, I have heard some pretty accompliched fishermen claim that products such as the following can attract fish: Ivory soap Preparation H WD-40 Garlic oil I use Dial Antibacterial soap to mask the scent of my hands -- and I think...

Since I fish in June when the water is starting to warm up, I've found that Pike take almost anything I offer. But I like Red Devils and Rapala Floating Originals #8 Perch pattern. This year I'll try larger baits like a #12 X-Rap. My baits are usually small because I use light and ultra light gear.

I fish Crotch Lake right after the Walleye Sanctuary ends in June. I like to fish the area between Whitefish Rapids and the extreme end of McLeans Bay. At the end of the bay there is a shallow feeding area for bait fish and the narrows that feed into it is a great place for Walleye and Pike. A lot o...
