Had a great day today. 3 eye's including a 21" 3.5 lbs fattie. I didnt knwo that eye's got fat like that this time of year. My personal best for the Ottawa region anyway.

Hit the rideau tribs this aft. Me and a partner caught about 30 of em.
Bite was strongest between 12:30 and 1:30. Kept 15, most about 10" with a few fat 12". Gonna be yummy tonight. Especially nice after being all but skunked this weekend.

I have caught walleye in several sections of the jock and even fallfish in one section. It really depends where you fish. The dead water areas around RIchomond are different than the ones below the dam. Its a fun river in places, hard to belive your so close to ottawa soemtimes when you round a bend...
