Congrats. I went down and fished Okeechobee a few years back. Big Bass down there, a buddy caught a 7 LB'er. Also, there are Crappie like crazy in those lakes. Scenery can get little dull tho.

I agree. Urban sprawl in Ottawa is rampant. Build up, not out. I used to live in Manotick, but I wouldn't now. Ottawa is going to be such a dump in 30 years!

Don't feel bad about the fallfish Stetco. First time I caught one of those Fall Fish, I thought it was a trout to, only because It was in a stream that was stocked with Brown Trout, and I had never seen/heard of a fall fish before. As I get to know the area, I find those SOB's everywhere. They are s...

Treatment just speeds up the same process that happens in nature with animal feces etc. Guy's, I am a Water Tre...

Hit the rideau tribs this aft. Me and a partner caught about 30 of em.
Bite was strongest between 12:30 and 1:30. Kept 15, most about 10" with a few fat 12". Gonna be yummy tonight. Especially nice after being all but skunked this weekend.

I have caught walleye in several sections of the jock and even fallfish in one section. It really depends where you fish. The dead water areas around RIchomond are different than the ones below the dam. Its a fun river in places, hard to belive your so close to ottawa soemtimes when you round a bend...
