Re: Users not staying logged in - FIX

I'm not sure about iPhones or iPads at this point. Doing this fix on browsers seems to work. I did make a change in the config the other day, so I would ask that you guys having problems try it once again and see if that solves the problem. Let me know and I'll keep working on trying to figure out t...

Users not staying logged in - FIX

New Fish-Hawk Gallery

Hello all, Just thought I'd let you know that I've created a new Fish-Hawk Photo Gallery. We did lose quite a few photos in the crash, however I was able to find a backup of some of them which many of you may recognize. I've imported them into the new gallery so at least we can start to rebuild. I k...

Re: SQL Connection Errors

Pretty sure you can block BOTS... http://www.thesitewizard.com/apache/block-bots-with-htaccess.shtml Yeah, I do that already.....the challenge is that every IP Address is different all the time it seems. I do it by both IP Address and Bot Name..... works up until the point a new IP address is used....

Re: SQL Connection Errors

OK, thanks. I had another look at the IP Addresses hitting the site and banned a few more from overseas. This is turning into a war. There "has" to be some way to block entire countries from poking around like they do and causing all these hits. Hopefully this will make it better. At this ...

Re: SQL Connection Errors

OK, a little update for you all...... I think we managed to find the culprit(s) that are causing all of the connections to be used up.....I've been working with my host provider Dan, who's been very helpful, finally...in figuring out what the problem may be....and have taken steps to rectify it........
