Also look around for weighted bobbers. I found some in Oakville. They have about 1/2 oz of lead in them. They can cast out a long way. See if you can spot any weedbeds and toss a minnow into them. As mentioned, before stepping on the dock cast out and let a worm sink our retreive in a jig. Just reme...

Where you are staying is wide open to the elements. Talk to the camp owner for the weather of the day. There are some Islands out to your left you can run to. A bit of a ride so again, watch the weather. To your right there is a huge weedbed, fish the edges and the pockets. As mentioned there is the...

There are lots of places you can put in with a 14 ft. Just check from where the wind is coming from and hide in the lee.

Deseronto, Napanee River, Hay Bay, Point Anne.
The Reach is not the only place.

I am pretty sure you could be tagged with Drinking out of Residence. Depending how many you have there would be impaired driving. Just think if MNR or OPP check you on the ice, see that you have had only one or two, think they might be waiting for you to get in your vehicle later? Also drinking in t...

The woods down there are full of mosquitoes anyways. The beach in the day is to busy to fish, but if you get up early enough you can surf cast, or at night there are some lights on the beach that I saw guys tossing handlines out, you could try those areas. Good big sharp hooks. have fun. Don't drink...

There is an area right in front of Wolesely Bay lodge that holds muskies. Also over by the Five Fingers. Also try a night fish up the river to the rapids up there. My buddie lost a good one one night.
Good luck.

Try going up the Mississippi River to the fast water. With your fish finder find the deep water. Be carefull at the mouth of the river. Stay to the right hand side. Also troll worm harness on the way up.
Good luck.

You could also try the going over and up the Mississippi. Go up to the hydro lines and fish in the deep water. If you do go slow at the mouth of the Miss, and stay to the right until your into the river.
I haven't been there for a while but do miss it.
