Yes I picked up a few on the Rideau last Thursday, Sunshine and rocks seemed to be the key with them. The sunfish also kept us busy.
Great to get out on such a beautiful day and break the ice for spring fishing.

Hoping that in just a few short weeks I will be touring the Rideau system with my fly rod and my light action gear for some panfish. Am I hoping or dreaming? That is yet to be determined.

I read in is weeks local Kanata newspaper (Kourier) this morning that the plan is to open Cabelas in September 2016.
