LAME!! I spent a lot of time trying to use backslashes and equal signes to make a design. Now it looks like I just mashed my keyboard a couple of times.

I hope you get the idea.

I WISH!!!!

I am going to call Crime Stoppers, looks like someone robbed either a bank or Lebaron's. Either way, I'm going to use my 1000$ reward to buy some ice fishing gear.

Someone mentionned it before.... I think the most important detail is the allignment of the handles. DO NOT get one with off-set handles, it takes twice as much work and is a lot harder to keep straight. BAD AUGER Design = | | \_______ \ | | ____/ / | | === === === GOOD AUGER Design = | | \_____ \ |...

I almost feel relieved to see all of these posts. I thought it was just me. I don't know if they have it, but I wouldn't bother checking their website or catalog... Between myself, my fishing buddy and his dad, they havn't had anything we wanted from the catalog in over 2 months. scopes, red-dots, r...

Hey Cockney, I won't give the exact location away, but... It's in the middle of downtown. All we where using was corn. When I first started I was missing alot of hits. I found the best way to turn a bite into a hooked fish was how the corn was rigged. Tie the line through the eye of the hook, but le...

This topic is hilarious. I missed the biggest pike of my life on a hotdog. About 18 years ago, I was going fishing with my buddy and his dad at their cottage. We decided to fish for catfish that night because none of us had got one before. We knew they liked worms and meat so my buddy and his dad bo...

What do you call a fisherman without a rod?

Despite having my best smallmouth and muskie year to date, I've had some BAD luck. It started after my wife bought me a nice baitcast rod and great reel for my birthday. I'd never used one. I couldn't wait for season to open to use this thing. I ended up using it for 3 weeks until my buddy put somet...

Bruin, I'm jealous!! Are they hiring? You didn't seem to be here long.(good for you) I'm from the Soo, and I've been trapped here for a little over 4 years now. I'm sad every time I pass the Husky on my way back to Ottawa from a visit home. I've often considered becoming a hobo and living on W...

My wife bought me a Pfleuger President baitcasting reel for my birthday. I love it. It's also the least expensive 10 ball bearing reels on the market. Smooth as silk!

Personally, I'm not a big fan of cameras. Now, I'll admit i've never used one for ice fishing, but I got the chance to use one while jigging for pickerel a few summers ago. I hated it! I saw so many fish that would either swim by and not notice the jig, look at the jig then swim away. I've never bee...

My good friend's dad loves his. He uses it for steelhead in rivers up north.
He said it was crappy, but worked well enough to show him where some of the pools where. He swears he catches more fish because of it.
But I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy one.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm in toronto now, funny enough, i'm staying with my sister in High Park. The crummy thing is... I needed more equipment than I though for work, so I couldn't carry my rod and tackle on the bus. I guess I'm doomed to go salmonless this year. Maybe next year! Again, Thanks ...

Thanks guys! The property wasn't mine, my family had rented a lodge for a week.(my folks grew up on Nipissing, we go pretty often) You're right about the storm, 30 seconds or so.(felt longer!) That thing came out of no where almost. We could see thunder clouds coming near, but nothing crazy. Then, a...

SkunkyMatt. Lk Nipissing, W/O Drama

Hey SkunkyMatt, Sorry if you consider this hijacking your topic, but I wanted to post about your trip without promoting all of that soap-opera. Nuff said. Anyways... Over the last 2 years every part of the west arm that is shallower than about 10ft has choked up with weeds. You must have seen them. ...

Sultan! I havn't heard many people talk about that town. The last time I was there the population was 101 people. I worked a Wakami lake Provincial Park for 3 years. What a little piece of heaven on earth. Have you fished Wakami lake at all? Great Pickerel, Pike and Whitefish all within 1km from the...
