Fishing Toronto?

Hey guys, It's good to see fish-hawk back online. I've been busy with work so I wasn't able to go fishing. Without this website, I was freaking out. Well, I'm going to be stuck in Toronto for the next 13 days for work. Unfortunately, in my line of work, there are a few periods of action with Lots of...

I've done well trolling with the same rig as Wall-I-Guy, but... I've been using a williams instead of the west river sutton. Remove treble hook, I've been using 6-8 inches of line between the spoon and hook. Tip with worm and have fun. My favorite though, is a small 1/8 ounce jig with original mr. t...

Great report! Sounds like it was exciting.

I'm not getting down there for a couple of days... you're killing me. But I love a good salmon story.

Did you hear of anyone having success from shore? We aren't going to have a boat until the third day of the trip.

I learn something new about fishing all the time.... Thanks eddie, I've never used a williams wobler for pike in my life. that has been an exclusively trout lure for me. Thanks alot for the tip, I have a mountain of them here in ottawa but I don't do any trout fishing since i've been in ottawa. I'll...

The Jock is a great fishery. I've seen a few 12+ pike just this year . There's also some HUGE 20lb+ muskie and 4lb+ smallmouth. Two of my three Muskie where from the Jock.

I was out again today and got an 18.8 pounder. Each time i've gone out this week I've been using more and more corn. The more I use the longer the school seems to stay around once they finally find your "corn field" We had a double header for a while today. They're a hard fish to hook even...

Bank St. Bridge INSANITY

What a day! I posted yesterday about having cought my first carp. My buddy and I decided to return to the area to try again. We never got around to carp fishing. I've been doing really well for 1/2 to 1 pound smallmouth with a white 1/8 ounce jig this year. But, Never like today. Within 5 minutes of...

First ever carp, but my wife beat me to it... Sorry, no pic

I took my wife out last weekend to go carp fishing because since I interduced her to fishing, she never really gets to come with me. This woman has the best luck I've ever seen. This being her 6th time fishing , she had to pull in a 27lb carp out of the rideau. I had never fished for them before so ...

I would strongly recomend the Pfleuger reels. For under 80$ you get an unbeatably smooth 10 ballbearing reel system. For anyone who is a doubter, go and pick them up at lebaron's, it'll blow your mind. I bought mine having only tried the 59.99$ version at Lebaron's. I now own their spincast and bait...
